HISTORY

The Malzacher family maintains a longstanding experience in the defense industry with a growing focus on military training.

For more than 15 years, GCS has been providing services related to business development, industrial cooperation, training and simulation for leading private and state-owned companies and authorities.

The majority of GCS management has a military background and an indepth understanding of military training requirements. At GCS, this field of experience joins academic and practical know-how in the areas of digital learning and training, instructional design, educational technology and simulation.

Managing Director

Nikolaus Malzacher was born in 1974 in Graz, Austria
Completed Officer training in the Austrian Army
University degree in law issued by the University of Vienna
Since 2005 active as owner and managing director of GCS
Languages: German, English, French and Portuguese
Geographic areas of interest: Austria, Eastern Europe and Portugal, including Portuguese speaking countries

Eng. Carlos Félix, MSc.

Chief Technical Officer

Carlos Félix was born in 1959 in Vila Real, Portugal
Completed Military Officer training (Special Forces)
University degree in Electronics and Computer Science Engineer issued by the University of Porto
Certified Trainer Qualification, issued by the Portuguese Institute for Employment
Advanced Executive Manager, certified by Universidade Católica de Lisboa - Economics and Business School
Former Head of the Development Engineering Division, OGMA, SA. (Aeronautic Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Company)
Former Executive President of a Training and Simulation Company, Empordef-TI, SA.

Since 2005 GDELS has been successfully collaborating with GCS in the frame of industrial cooperation projects and in the development of tailor-made simulation solutions for our customers.
Joint projects range from the development of dynamic driving simulators to turnkey-solutions for the different vehicle platforms of our comprehensive product portfolio.
Respective development processes have been focussing on the specific demands of the end-user, the selection and integration of the latest digital training technology and scientific learning concepts.
Through this excellent partnership GDELS and GCS have been able to provide carefree-solutions in operation and maintenance support for the simulators to be rendered at the premises of our military customers.
